CASN phosphor is a nitride red phosphor, its molecular formula is CaAlSiN3. It is also referred to as 1113 phosphor because its chemical formula atomic coefficient is 1113. In addition to Japan's NIMS (National Institute for Materials Science) and Mitsubishi Corporation who own a part of the CASN phosphor core patent, another part of the core patent was originally held by Japan's Panasonic company, and now Panasonic and Jufei Optoelectronics reached a patent transfer agreement that Panasonic transfers all its core patents of CASN to Jufei Optoelectronics.
